1/14/2024 0 Comments Nfs most wanted 2005reddit![]() Best racer I've played in years (maybe ever) and most definetly the best NFS game I've played. I finished this game up this past weekend. Pisses me off that there is so few of them. Oh, and drag racing is the most fun this game offers. The game gets kinda boring cause of that. Chances are that you're gonna run into that milestone again, only with the number of cars to scrape/roadblocks to break upped by 4, so you'll get the bonus eventually. To add, sometimes you should just end the chase instead of tryign to get that ONE LAST milestone. I've only just reached #4 on the blacklist, so maybe the milestones ask for so much bounty in one shot that even if you start from zero heat, you'll hit level 5. Too many quick, superagressive cars, even the helicopter comes down to get in your face, and slowing down in the slightest means a huge pileup of cars hitting you from behind and boxing you in against a wall. ![]() Earlier today I made the mistake of starting my chase at level 3, and every time my heat level hit level 5, it was over. Although this advice is moot by now, start your chases with a car with zero heat on it. ![]() It gets really hard, especially if you get to the 'level 5' chase level. I'm gonna bump this just because I'm experiencing what the topic starter is experiencing. Or if you have a helicopter scoping you, reverse back into the bus depot, but not back down the ramp. To end this madness, move away from the edge and the evasion meter will start increasing. Reset your car upon impact and you'll be back on top of the bus. An occasional police car will figure out how to get on top of the buses and when that happens, simply drive off the bus and the police will follow. The police will clamor on top of each other and blindly run into the indestructible buses, like some Monty Python-esque destruction derby. Hang your car over the last bus so the police can see you and they'll go nuts trying to figure out how you got up there there. Turn right and go up the ramp and onto the row of buses. The bus depot is across the street from it.ĭrive into the depot. If you're not completely sure where this is, open up the world map, select this Pursuit Breaker for the GPS. Drive to the bus depot south of the station. Go to the Bounty option in the Safe House and choose Rosewood Police Station. Why is it that your fucking car just burns out when you're accellerating from a stop? 99% of the times I've been busted I had a clear path to escape, but my car was just spinning its wheels instead of escaping.īlacklist 3-1 - Hello Gamestop? Can I trade-in NFS:MW? It's only worth $5? Sounds like a great deal! ![]() You need to time it so that you're in cool-down as you pass your safe house otherwise you'll never evade the cops. It takes a 20 minute chase to get the milestones you need, then when you need to evade them there's a cop every 2 blocks. The cop chases aren't as fun as I had hopped, but it's not a negativeīlacklist 6-4 - ARGH! The racing is still fun, although the catch-up AI is lame, but the fucking cop chases are pissing me off. NFS:MW went like this:īlacklist 15-13 - Yawn, this game is boring, easy, and the cars handle weirdīlacklist 12-7 - Hey, this game is pretty fun! The cars control a little better when you can tune them (WHILE YOU'RE DRIVING). TL DR, does anyone remember being able to run this game with wireless controllers? Are there any possible fixes? I already tried calibrating the controller in Win7, with no changing results.I'm dumping this piece of shit to Gamestop later today, and I can't wait. The wired controller or keyboard without any wireless controllers plugged in worked fine. I tried an old, wired Gravis Gamepad Pro, and it worked fine.Īt first, I thought it was a Windows 7 compatibility problem, but the same steering drifting left occurred when I tried running the game on my old P4 1.5 GeForce 4 ti4200 WinXP box. Even if I use the keyboard and leave the controller plugged into the usb port, the car drifts left, making it nearly impossible to control. The problem is that whichever wireless controller I try (Xbox 360 wireless or Logitech Rumblepad 2), the steering always drifts to the left. Since it's an old game, it runs fine on integrated graphics, even with the widescreen fix. I decided to fire up classic NFS:MW (2005) on my HTPC (Win7, G620T, intel hd 2000, 4GB).
